I feel like I've grown a whole few years older within the span of 24 hours - and maybe it's because I've been talking to people, one on one thing, or maybe because I'm on a mood swing.
When does it happen? I know, it's cliche yadida - but it's true right? Time flies. It's like one moment I was 6 and starting my first day of Kindergarten (which has become blurry images mushed into another bunch of things in my mind), and suddenly, I'm a 15 year old, who suddenly knows lots of stuff, and has to deal with juggling school work and assignments, and now the upcoming half yearlys, and extra curricula like family, tutor, piano.
When does it happen? That our biggest fears and worries were if we were allowed to go to our friend's house over the weekend for their 8th birthday party, to if we'd get caught for doing something that doesn't sit right with higher authorities? (because obviously, we'd get in trouble .. but still, you get my drift)
When does it happen? That it gets all complicated and messy and delicate. It's when we realised that there are pros and cons to things, and that there is a lot more to consider.
Growing up - it's not all that bad, and for what it's worth, I'm thankful that I get to grow up with you guys (YEAR 10 09 HAHS!). I wouldn't have it any other way.
