Hey guys :)

This might be a long blog, so I'm warning you guys in advance - read on if you wish, you don't have to lols. In saying that, I'll probably divide this blog into a few sections:

- updates
- recommendations
- venting

UPDATES
So school has returned for all of us, which means I'm officially in Year 10 (freaky). I've loved catching up with everyone, and seeing Oscar looking like an oompa loompa (LOL).We've got quite a lot of newcomers into our grade, so I'm excited to get to know them, and to let them know that our grade is so fucking awesome :) Not actually looking forward to much of the school work, but hey, we'll get there in the end. I must admit though, since our grade has reached the era of grades with two digit numbers, it really does look ugly on your school books - seriously. "9N" looks so much prettier than "10N" LOL. But we'll get used to it hey?

Swimming carnival is coming up, so I'm looking forward to that! Gotta love the bludge, dressing up, luvoing, and just having a good time. Too bad it's not the old 2 day carnival for the whole school, that was so much better. Still not sure what to wear, cos I really do want to dress up, but I don't know what to wear. Theme: WENTWORTH IN WONDERLAND. And on a competitive note, Wentworth's gonna kick all your asses this year again :) LOL

Chinese New Year was really fun :) Wore a dress (OUT IN PUBLIC? OMG NO WAY) haha, and collected quite a few red pockets, so thanks to everyone who gave me one. On the topic of CNY, my aunt told me that my littlest cousin, Wendy, attempted to steal some money. How? She saw my other cousin's bunch of red pockets on the table, took them, and hid them in one of her drawers. Apparently, everyone asked her where it was, and she replied that she had simply no idea and pleaded everyone to stop inquiring about it. After a while, Billy (my cousin who she's afraid of) asked where the money was, and she went away and retrieved it. Classic.

I can't think of anything else, so I'll move on...

RECOMMENDATIONS
So I finished reading Dear John by Nicholas Sparks, and I forgot to tell you guys if it was good or not. IT WAS ! lols, so I think you guys should read it. Its about romance basically lols (I just heard Lizzie squeal, did you guys hear that?) But after reading a few more Nicholas Sparks novel, I started liking the other novels better. "The Lucky One" was pretty good as well, so yeah read that. But the book that's my favourite so far is "The Rescue" by Nicholas Sparks, SO EVERYONE READ IT. READ IT!!!!!!! I cried so many times in that book, it's so beautiful. KUDOS TO SPARKS BROTHER ! 6/5 stars (L)

While watching Ellen during the holidays (The Ellen DeGeneres Show), I looked up these guys on youtube. And I think they're pretty awesome, so if you're ever bored, I think you guys should listen to them, cos they're really good:

They sing more songs, so just look around :) Also, I included this link as well cos Kenrick gave me this link, and I think she's really good as well (AND SHE LOOKS LIKE VANESSA ANNE HUDGENS!)

So enjoy that you guys!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I live in about ten different worlds. It's confusing, it's challenging, it's conflicting, and sometimes, I just don't know what to do. I feel like I'm a puppet, and all these strings are the strings from each world I'm in, tugging me in different directions. Sometimes I fight it, sometimes I give in, sometimes I really don't care.
I won't ever stop loving the people and things I hold dear to my heart. My best friends, my mates, my family, my hobbies - they're the things that keep me going when times are tough. I try my best to push myself to my potential. This is the one world that's relatively simple most of the time. It's my default.
Then there's that world. The one you see plastered all over there. It intrigues me sometimes, and gives me the impression that image and fashion is of the utmost priority. It confuses me though - it's great to be able to look great and all, but there's so much more. There is so so so much more out there in the world, so why make this so important? I'm a hypocrite though.
Then there's that other world. I want to grow old, and when I reflect back on my life, I want to say that I have LIVED. That I've experienced. But what to do, when you wish to have no regrets, but you are confined to do as others wish you to do so? They've given you everything, so how can you not return the simplest favours?
The best I can settle for, is to be the best person I can be. To give it my all, my everything, my 110%. And hope for the best...
xoxo
