2008: WHAT WAS, WHAT IS & WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN...

I thought I'd start this blog by amusing you all with a photo of me with my bowl haircut at 23 months old. You may laugh at it (fuck you Greek LOL), but don't deny the fact that you probably had a bowl haircut when you were little too - so ha! And if you didn't, then ... well you suck balls. JOKES.

I look like a boy :(

Also for your entertainment, is a picture of me in my kung fu pose. Watch out bitches.
LOL

2008 is drawing to a close, and it's been one heck of a rollercoaster. Almost everyone was pretty much attached to their Year 8 classes in 07 - I know I was. (8R 07 FTW YEAH!) I'll admit, this year wasn't as awesome as 2007, but it wasn't too bad either. It had its moments, and by the end of the year, I found that I pretty much enjoyed the year as a whole. And I think almost everyone thought so too :) Here's 2008 as an overview:
  • THE BEGINNING: being put into MERINO classes. Everyone was with different people in their classes, and people were pretty much insecure the first few weeks (am I right?). Swimming carnival approached, and gave us a chance to hang with our original classes a bit.
  • THE MIDDLE: through out the first two terms, the rollercoaster had already begun. Everyone was getting used to their classes, yet many still yearned for their year 8 classes. Friendships were being put to the test, uncomfortable truths were being exposed, and we grew up slightly.
  • THE GRADUAL LEAD UP TO THE END: well...this rollercoaster ride just got more interesting as it hit terms 3 and 4. Emotionally, it was quite overwhelming. It was a bit like the first semester, only like double that. Many matured, many grew, many learned and many accepted. Yearlys were around the corner as well, and when the time came, we bullshitted our way through it - then relaxed :) Camp arrived, and although it was unhygienic, emotionally overwhelming, had no reception, and the cabins were just ridiculous, it was an enjoyable experience.
  • THE END (well. close to it): The end weeks of school were the biggest bludge ever. It was pretty awesome actually, not bothering to do any work, because the teachers couldn't threaten us with some bullshit excuse about changing our reports cos they were done already! People were leaving for their holiday vacations, and we said our goodbyes to those who were leaving. We took a million photos to preserve the memories of our last few weeks as Year 9 08, and we partied without alcohol. Now, school's over, and Christmas is on it's way :)

What a year!

Anyways to end this blog, I put out a question to you all. Okay two questions. One is, how did everyone think this year went?, and the second one is, DO YOU THINK I SHOULD KEEP THIS DRESS? Because I really don't know. :(

With no belt?

Or with a belt?

Well take care everyone. By the time I blog next, I'm hoping there's a new layout here. I've totally forgotten everything about HTML, but I'm getting there. Merry Christmas to everyone, and a happy new year ! May the next year be awesome for you :)
